plus another LA prospect. Choate to LA as well.

Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal

BREAKING: Sources tell me and @jonmorosi: #Hanley to #Dodgers, Eovaldi and prospect to #Marlins.

EDIT: Scott McGough is the other player going to Miami.

No word yet on who minor leaguer is yet. Edit: Minor leaguer is Scott McGough. Mods merge my thread to X's. He beat me to the punch.

Loria on Hanley: "It's no secret I love the kid. He needs to have a fresh beginning, a new beginning.

Sure ya did, Jeff. He wanted out and you were happy to offload his salary. Loria got his stadium and now he's going to sell off all the young talent. I bet the taxpayers down there are going to love it, too.

I hope they get Dempster, maybe if Garza pitches Monday, the Braves get involved on him. A package with Delgado, Teheran and one of Minor or Gilmartin would be a haul.

So... what would we conceivably have to give up for Giancarlo Stanton?

Also, Jeff Loria should be murdered for justifiably being a seaward

I don't know if you're kidding, but Stanton makes 500k a year. They're not selling him. In fact, I'm not sure there's more than a couple of players who would be harder to acquire.

And yes, Loria is an awful human.

When it was first reported that the Marlins could be sellers, Stanton was highlighted as someone they would listen in on for offers. No one expected him to be moved, but they are apparently not averse to making him untouchable.

So he's untouchable then.

"No one" being the media, not the Marlins.

If they're not averse to making him untouchable, then they're willing to make him untouchable.
