David Holland got his start pushed back to Saturday to give him some extra rest.

So, Texas is using him in relief today. You know, so he gets extra rest.

So, please remove any points I get from Holland's relief outing, because Texas is really stupid with their rotation.

if shane wants out of the league, what are everyone's thoughts on looking for a replacement midseason? he still has dempster out injured, is only playing two outfielders this week and had a minor leaguer who was listed as "illegal" or something because he changed from first baseman to pitcher (i fixed that using commish powers). if he isn't going to actively manage his team, would it be more fair to have someone take over who will do so, and who might make some trades to improve his team's outlook for future years?

Morales has been relegated to PH duty, so the weight of the world is on Duda's shoulders.

don't think you can bench a position player mid-week just because he's not playing enough.

Hi Everyone!

Juan just messaged me (thanks Juan!) - I had updated my lineup so that only Derek Lowe should have been starting today, but instead I have 3 different folks starting. I'm not sure what I did - probably forgot to hit save. With that said, because of my mistake, I have 9 starts. Not sure how this is normally addressed? Remove the top 2 scores and keep the lowest? I apologize - honesstly thought I had things covered, but clearly didn't. If someone with the commish role could assist in adjusting my score appropriately, it would be much appreciated.

Juan, again, my apologies...I really thought I had things adjusted!

Thanks!

here is a dumb question - how do i see how many points each of your pitchers piled up in those games? i can see how many points they had during the week, which doesn't do me much good since they each made two starts. and i can see how many points they got yesterday, which again doesn't do me any good since i want sunday's stats.

Boy, I thought this would be easy...but not so much! From what I can tell, I had 9 starts total:

Morrow x 2

McCarthy x 1

Lowe x 2

Lewis x 2

Saunders x 1

Wolf x 1

of these, Lowe and Lewis were the 2 that started on Sunday, so those are the points that need to go. For the week, Lowe scored 57 and Lewis scored 41, but I can't find a place to break out the numbers. Is this something where I'll need to go in and get their complete stat lines and manually calc in order to get the scores? I'm happy to do this, but if there's an easier way, I'm all for hearing it :)

i don't think you'll need to bother with that. there's a place where we can view stats/points over the last 7 games, so once we get to wednesday or something, i should be able to look at that and it will only go back far enough to include the one start that lowe and lewis made. probably the fairest thing to do is just remove the starts that put you over 7, which would be the sunday starts by lowe and lewis.

in the future, probably the best thing to do - if you go over in starts or if you have a starter that makes a relief appearance - is to report who the offending player is and how many points they scored, rather than just saying "please remove the points for ____." since cbs inexplicably doesn't have an easy way to go back and find out how many points a player scored for a given game.

Had a chance to take a look at this today...

Sunday Starts - please remove points from Sock It Thomes:

Lewis, Colby SP TEX 8.0 1 1 0 1 0 0 0 6 1 4 1.125 0.6250 30.50

Lowe, Derek SP CLE 6.0 1 1 0 0 1 0 0 2 1 6 3.000 1.1667 15.50

Again, apologies - hopefully it'll never happen again, but if it does, will do my best to grab points ASAP. Thanks for making the fix.
