Even if he is a HOF TE, if the Bears could have had him in the 6th (not a given, obviously) AND also had another player to develop in the 4th, it's still a reach. It's a great pick if he's a HOFer, but it's still a reach regardless.

If he would have been gone, so be it. He's nothing special. You can't keep justifying picks by saying they wouldn't last until your next turn. That is idiotic tunnel vision and it costs you talent.
