No to another dlineman in rd 2. I know we did that in the mock draft, and I didn't like it then either. Take a OL, possibly CB or WR

The Bears need the help at DT. Melton, Paea, and Toeina is it on the roster (Jordan Miller from practice squad also around). If I was a betting man though, I'd say WR and OL are the most likely picks tonight.

Paea and Melton should be the starters. You can get depth later on or get a DT who is cut later on. Not against taking one if he's the best player available, but this team has too many holes to lock yourself into taking one position no matter what.

I don't think most people are for locking into a position. At least not when you have several with holes. Its just likely you'll find a nice DT at 50.

Kelechi Osemele could be an impact OL who will be available at 50. Dude is a monster who will most likely be a guard at the NFL level.

The biggest need is a good LT. We've got what? Potentially 4 Guards on the roster already? Spencer, Edwin/Chris Williams, Garza and one more I think but his name is escaping me.

With this staff, the odds of them picking a LT are basically zero. And I believe Chris Williams and Chris Spencer are both free agents after next year. Picking someone like Osemele would have our right side of the line set for a long time.

Clark Judge likes the Bears pick:

Chicago's choice of Boise State defensive end/linebacker Shea McClellin. The guy goes 100 mph, seldom misses a tackle and can play a myriad of positions. The Bears needed another outside pass-rusher, and they have one now. McClellin had 33 tackles for losses and 20.5 sacks in his past 37 games, some of which he finished on the sidelines because his team was so far ahead. The more I look at Chicago, the more I consider it serious competition for Green Bay in the NFC North.

I barely know what the 40 man roster is in baseball so my bar of someone qualifying as a professional sports transactions guru is admittedly pretty low.

But you know cap holds, trade exemptions, and the like in hoops so it was a compliment anyway.

Gotcha. Seemed out of left field in a Bears thread.

What are you weirdos talking about?

I hope emery figures out a way to get his Marshall mojo back. Loved that one and haven't liked anything since. Nothing but depth and special teams

I have no idea.

Is it like dumb to have the sig? I'm really not sure.
