I sent Tim a PM about this too, but I've concluded that due to business at work and changing priorities as I get older I'm no longer able to devote the time that this league deserves, and in fairness to the league I should turn my team over to someone who can devote more effort than I can at the moment. I've spent almost no time on NSBB recently and haven't been thinking about my team for next year. It's possible that in the future my time constraints will ease up (there's plenty of precedent in this league for somebody dropping out, then returning in the future), but for now I feel this is the best course of action.

I may be out too.. I'm lacking internet time with a 6 month old and plenty of other things going on (a new house hunt, long hours at work, and just a lack of interest in baseball the last 2 years) to make me say enough is enough. 10 years in this league and I've done pretty damn well (3rd or 4th best team historically over that timeframe). If you can't find an owner, then I'd "manage" a team, but it won't get the attention it has in the past. Remember, I tried to get out a year or two ago but a respectable manager couldn't be found. Let me know your thoughts.

if people don't want to be in the league they should be able to leave. there are plenty of knowledgeable baseball fans on nsbb who could take over a team, i think.
