CBA and the Draft/Int'l Free Agency

Good news on hard slotting but hopefully this cap idea doesn't gain traction (I can't imagine it will for the same reason hard slotting didn't catch on):

 

@Kevin_Goldstein: Source indicates that the CBA holdup has moved OFF of hard slots for the draft, but capping draft and int'l spending is in play.

That's good news. It would suck to lose an edge just after gaining/discovering it.

Have they mentioned anything more about trading picks? I know it was mentioned a serious possibility awhile back. I could see Theo trying to abuse that until teams sort of settle on consensus market values.
