He could just be traveling because of the dad's trip thing

 

That could be, but if he was badly out they could say he's going to be out for a week or two weeks or however long and he could still travel with the team for the dad's trip.

Well I think generally they will not say a guy is day-to-day if he's going to be out awhile. They didn't do that with Stalberg or Smith. There's been some ambiguity in terms of concussion-type injuries in the past -- Kim Johnsson comes to mind.

 

Or maybe, for once, I'm just being an optimist.

I didn't think much of O'Donnell when we got him, but I'm glad he's around now. In any event, he's way better than Hendry.

They spent so much money too on old or overrated players. Didn't like a single move that they made in the offseason. But there is talent there to at least be a slightly below average team.
