i wonder if bernier gets suspended for that hit. it's definitely a suspendable infraction, but maybe they'll just say "meh he lost his team the game" and decide that's punishment enough.

the islanders offered their entire draft to columbus for the #2 pick (Murray) and CBJ turned it down. They did fire four scouts right after the draft and couldn't pull the trigger on any Nash deal, so maybe they just don't have any faith in their ability to make use of all those picks. But I'd guess that could have been a nice haul.
