An absolutely horrible job of play calling today from Mike Sherman. It looked like Mike Martz took over his brain. Unexplainable to me. Our team looked completely out of shape and once again it seems as if our senior QB curse is going to strike again this year. Completely disgusted with the performance today. I'm afraid Arkansas is going to roll us next week. I hope the team proves me wrong.

On a related note, did anyone see the box score for the UNLV-Southern Utah game? SUU was outgained by 150 yards and lost the possession battle by 10 minutes but won the game by 25. The reason? Not only did they only have two turnovers to UNLV's five but the three picks UNLV threw all were returned for touchdowns.

 

Wins by FCS schools over FBS schools are already rare but you almost never see 25-point wins, even when terrible FBS schools like Washington St. are playing.
