Maybe Bob was intentionally getting an extra start to ensure a loss with the penalty. With Chuck beating me this week, a loss for Bob wraps up the #1 pick in the prospect draft (he'd be two games "ahead" with only one week remaining with the shortened schedule).

Unless David Freese hits 3 homers, it's down to the head to head next week with the Sanitizers and Dealers. The pitching match ups kind of suck for me, especially Nolasco.

 

It would really suck to lose this week and miss a 2 start performance from Beckett and Kershaw in the playoffs.

 

Next week will be epic in the pursuit of a repeat.

vogelsong, lincecum and kennedy (x2) have decent matchups. what a clusterf the rest of it is though...wolf v. cubs, dempster with 2 tough matchups, ogando v. boston. could bring up minor to face either the cubs or the mets.

Unfortunately it's nothing that underhanded. I'm on vacation for about 11 days and it's near impossible to manage one's team on an iPhone. Need a PC/Mac and I'm traveling around some fairly remote parts of Queensland, so I don't have one.
