He actually wanted to buy a PS2 so he wanted to sign quickly

Nothing confirmed. All the articles dealing with individual Cubs' picks have stated that the Cubs tend to give draftees time to finish up tournaments, make arrangements, and basically breathe before sitting down at the negotiating table.

 

5th Rounder Tayler Scott stated he intends to sign, but I haven't seen any articles saying he signed yet.
