The good news is Russell is pitching well, the bad news is that knowing the Cubs this will probably earn him another start.

That '92 NLCS they were referencing had some outrageous abuse by Jim Leyland in game 6. The Pirates went up 8-0 in the top of the 2nd, and then made it 12-1 in the top of the 4th and 13-1 in the top of the 5th. Leyland ran Wakefield out there for a complete game and 141 pitches.
