Not that it will necessarily make a difference, but I'm still due to have 3 points added back to wipe out Duensing's relief outing this week since we don't count points earned by a starting pitcher in an unscheduled relief appearance. That policy should be the same regardless of whether the points are positive or negative since it's not intended as a penalty to the manager, since it's an unforeseen situation rather than the manager being negligent.

Done...I think.

I mean, I did something and I hope I did it right.

Yes, it's right now. Probably not enough to make a difference this week (thanks largely to my bush-League closer), but you never know when a few points could make a difference in a tie-breaker situation.

hi all :) work has been crazy lately, so apologies for not having a ton of time to talk fantasy bb.

Just wanted to make note that Logan Morrison has been activated off of the DL, so I have added him to my starting lineup and benched Chase Headley.

We have a new operating system and web site all going into play this week and next week. Conversions have been a bit crazy and I won't be around much, if at all, for the next week. Or things will be just fine and I will be around.

To continue my restocking of my prospect ranks, I'd like to pick up Robbie Erlin, lhp, TEX. He's not in the DB, though.

I'm not sure how to handle this one, though. I can add him to the db, which doesn't feel fair. However, anyone could have requested adding him at any time up until now, too. So I'm torn on that one.

Thoughts?

i say take him, if anyone else wanted him they would have/should have requested that he be added.

I don't think players should be allowed to be aquired until they are added into the datebase by CBS. That's what the waiver wire system is for and/or the prospect draft. When adding "dummy" players into the datebase it just messes things up when they are finally added by CBS.

League crapped the bed again (-13). He's now at -28 for the week.

As far as Tim's issue is concerned, I have no problem with him adding Erlin. As he pointed out everybody had fair shot during the prospect draft and passed.

Cuddyer into my lineup, Fowler (day-to-day) out.

We've been allowing dummy players in the past, so I don't see why we would not allow it now. The problem with waiting until they are added, is anyone could then add them when everyone should have a chance to draft those players. I'm not going to watch the list to see who gets added daily. I'd rather just draft them whether they have been added or not at that time and then switch them out when they do get added. No one drafted this player, so if Tim wants to add him, I don't see a problem.

Happiness is having not one, but two opponents' starts wiped out by rain. White and Bedard were pitching against each other when the Cleveland-Seattle game was rained out.

Sadness is still trailing by over 100 points even with this development.

I'm debating dropping Bedard to get a starter for tomorrow, but it's a tough decision because I would then have to give up Bedard who could be effective.

If you already have the week won, why would you risk weakening your team for future weeks by dropping someone you wish to keep just to get a meaningless extra start.

He still has 4 starts left to my 0, so it's not 100% locked up... I'm debating, not entirely sure I'm going to pick up anyone yet. I did grab Bedard off the scrap heap this week.

I'm going to take my chances and not pick up any starters. Hopefully 3 of Robert's don't make up the 120 pt defecit. Also, Victorino with the ambulance and out a few days, so he is moved to the bench, Moreland goes to OF, and Alvarez in at U.

That would be a tall order (barring a no-no from Lincecum or Hudson), especially considering that one of my starters is Vazquez. I really needed more from Davis yesterday.

Scrambling my ass off to get 7 starts this week, and just looked at my roster for next week and I currently have 15 starts scheduled. Ugh.

I'm now down to 6 starts for the week because of the Cubs (and Lincecum's start) being rained out. I'm so far behind I'm not going to bother looking for a 7th start on the scrap heap. At least this should make Lincecum a 2-start pitcher next week.

ETA: I have my 7th start after all. Originally the Twins were going to skip Duensing because of his relief outing earlier in the week, but they decided he's rested enough to start today.

Bye bye Brandon League. I think I'll be better off with a solid setup man (Mike Adams) than a sucky closer, especially since I already have Rivera.

Win one, lose one. Win one, lose one. Win one, lose one.

Apologies in advance for next week, Shane!

Crap. Cleveland is in a delay. I need Tomlin to start or Marquis to start pitching like Marquis.

Go Karen! Possible two game lead. :)

I would have been better off not knowing about Duensing starting today until it was too late to change my lineup. He put up -22 today.
