The Reds won by a run. Looks like Dusty is justified in playing from 1 run down 3 in the first inning. Keep it coming Dusty!

I posted this image before, but it should probably be posted again.

ESPN just took the game off the air by me and has Sports Center on. That happen to anyone else?

I had the reverse; the game started but my ESPN just kept showing Sports Center until like the 4th inning and then it randomly went to the game.

It's always great to watch two of your greatest rivals get crushed in exciting fashion.

Kinda sucks the Reds had to win a great one, but I don't see a way around that... short of double forfeit on account of the biggest damn brawl ever.

Can't believe the Giants resisted the urge to break these out tonight.

I refuse to ever look at the Brewers as one of the Cubs' "greatest rivals." They're the [expletive] Brewers.

Did I say all-time?

The two teams themselves aren't so much rivals as are the fans rooting for them. Considering the majority of Cubs fans are Bears fans and the majority of Brewers fans are Packers fans, I think there could be some left over animosity from football season. Although obviously 07 and 08 are the biggest reasons these two teams are now considered rivals.

My thoughts today were:

If Axford sucks then the Brewers are in trouble.

The Scrappy St.Louis Duo are going to be a trainwreck middle infield.

Pujols will not go hitless this year.

The Reds are going to hit a lot of Home Runs

Why did Verlander throw 114 pitchers in the first game?

Glad I picked Cameron Maybin as one of my sleeper picks.

The Cubs are undefeated versus the Pirates this year.

Adrian Gonzalez is hitting 5th today for the Red Sox, I understand he missed some time in ST and might not be completely ready. But he's the best hitter for the Red Sox, no excuse to not bat him 3rd.
