You could title a post "Australian weather patterns and their effects on constipation," and it wouldn't get as much of a reaction from Truffle as Philadelphia hating.

 

that's because it's stupid. there's little that separates one passionate fan base from another. cliff lee's wife was spit on by yankee fans. white sox fans beat up an old man coaching first base. giants fans knocked a chargers' coach unconscious with a snowball. browns fans have, on multiple occasions, thrown so much stuff on the field that referees changed the direction of play so that the dawg pound could not pelt opposing players with things like beer bottles and batteries. hell even friggin utah jazz fans have thrown crap on the court on numerous occasions.

From another perspective though, you should be all for it.

 

The only thing something like this accomplishes is to galvanize Philly fans, which in turn fuels even more passion. It becomes a badge of honor.

 

 

I'm surprised Cub fans aren't somewhere on that list. There are plenty of Cub fan haters out there. Pretty much the entire city of Milwaukee, for example. And St. Louis.
