Leaning that way. I like the depth on the player side better than the pitchers.

 

The only reasons I'm really hesitating are because of Morneau's situation and I've got to fill c, 3b, of, of, u on the hitting side, but I've already got a rotation of Latos, Greinke, Cueto, Matusz and Wells.

 

I also have Pineda, who is likely to get a rotation spot in May, plus Turner who Detroit may promote too aggressively as they are wont to do. Of course, Hosmer may also force his way into KC's lineup sooner than later, too.

 

So...player-wise I'd guess that Haren will have the bigger impact. But team-wise, it may be that Teix would be more important to me.

I loaded up on pitching, and now with a few other surprises, I probably won't draft any pitchers except relievers. I have:

 

C.C. Sabathia

Roy Oswalt

Brett Anderson

Brandon Webb

James Shields

Neftali Feliz (being promoted to starter)

Carlos Carrasco (probably decent enough for those rare occasions I need a 7th starter)

 

But I'm in dire need of help on offense. Story of my team.

tough call for me on keeping either j johnson or teix. seeing what's available for SP's, i'm kinda glad i kept johnson.

Ok here is where I stand. The problem is I am at 2,095, so one of Utley, Young, Verlander, or Lee is available for trade if someone is interested. Delmon being my 1st choice as to who I want to trade.

I apologize for not catching this sooner, but Billy Butler is not exempt. He has 4 major league seasons with over 300 at bats. Your team is currently sitting at 2081.7 and someone will have to be dropped to make your team legal. I'm not sure if we can allow any other option at this point than dropping someone since teams were supposed to be legal as of February 14th and trades are only allowed after that provided the team is legal.
