We have approximately 33" of snow on the ground here. When are Keepers due ? Is the drop deadline still 2/14 ?

Yes, same deadline. Hopefully it will be set up the same as the last couple of years, where we could mark our keepers and have the rest of the players dropped automatically.

It should be. In my other Commissioner league we have that option already.

Hmm. I'll have to look into that. However, if a team or two doesn't mark their keepers, it would seem as though I'd be dropping their whole roster if I set it to auto.

Here are my keepers... Not going to put up their points, as they total around 1890 or so.

 

Braun

Arod

Alexi Ramirez - Exempt

Prado - Exempt

Alvarez - Exempt

 

Weaver

Jurrjens

Bumgarner - Exempt

Tillman - Exempt

Buchholz - Exempt

 

Really like the start I have to a potentially good rotation. Arod, Braun, and Alvarez are solid bats. Prado and Ramirez should be above avg at SS and 2B. I think I'm in much better shape this year than I was to start last year. Especially considering I have 2 first, 2 third, and 2 fourth rd picks.

Hmm. I'll have to look into that. However, if a team or two doesn't mark their keepers, it would seem as though I'd be dropping their whole roster if I set it to auto.

We've done it that way the last couple of years and as far as I know it's worked fine. It seems to me like it's easier to do it that way rather than having to drop non-keepers one by one (I don't think you can drop players in bulk but I could be wrong about that).

 

Something else to be done is adding the draft picks to our rosters so we can finalize the trades involving draft picks.

Keepers can now be marked in Roadkill. YOU MUST MARK THE PLAYERS YOU WISH TO KEEP IN THE TEAM SCREEN, even if you pared down your roster already.

 

Keepers must be marked before February 14th, so it must be done by Sunday night. If someone won't be around and you have your list posted here and you need me to set them for you, let me know asap. I'm working all weekend, so I won't be around much after tomorrow.
