Can we put a moratorium on picking the Lions though? Every year people pick them as the fashionable team that will win. They always suck in the end.

The Vikings did that a few years ago. If memory serves they did it 2 years in a row... or came really close at least.

They were very competitive in every game they played last year and were a better team than their record would indicate with a mixture of bad backup quarterbacks last year. If Stafford had been healthy, they'd have likely been at 8+ wins.

He's probably always going to be injured, or fighting injury.

 

Then he'll be gone, and they'll be right back where they always are.

 

Once they show they can hang with the top of the division, I'll be happy to change my opinion of them. As of now, they're bottom feeders in the NFC North until proven otherwise.

I really don't like this draft in primetime thing. Now I have all night and all day tomorrow to stew about the Locker pick. I'd much rather there be a 2nd and 3rd round pick to (hopefully) make me feel better after the first day of the draft.
