Stafford vs. Kolb

25 yds/pt; 4 pts per TD, so basically who's the better yardage guy?

The Bears are probably a weaker defense (especially secondary) than the Packers, so I'd probably go with Stafford. Kolb has better weapons, though.

Stafford. I really don't like Kolb in fantasy.

Raw already answered and I'm leaning toward what he said, but I'd like to hear what others think. Start three, non PPR.

Pierre Thomas

Jamaal Charles

Arian Foster

Jahvid Best

Start one: Moreno, Wells, Spiller.

I've got Moreno in there now because he's closest to a sure thing.

Yeah, I'm torn between Moreno and Spiller too. I went with Spiller (so far) because he is 100% healthy, starting, and has played in the preseason. There are whispers that Moreno may be limited to a certain number of plays. Wells is looking like a game-time decision (did not practice yesterday) and is still Hightower's backup.

2QB League... for my second QB do I go Stafford against the Bears or Jason Campbell against the Titans? Yahoo says not to start Campbell because of the Titans 'veteran D'. Wtf? The Titans were 31st against the pass last year? I would like to start Campbell over Stafford so I'm not cheering for Stafford and the Bears at the same time. Any thoughts?

For my WR/RB/TE position should I start Dez Bryant, Jordan Shipley, Golden Tate, or Jermaine Gresham? Leaning towards Bryant, but no preseason doesn't help at all. I think Shipley could be a surprise in the slot though and could get some return yards.

Everyone seems to be pumping up Malcom Floyd. I'm pretty confident he'll have a decent week too, but there is a problem. Or, maybe not, who knows. I already have Ryan Matthews and Antonio Gates starting. Is it dumb to start three players from the same team, knowing it probably decreases your chances of all three having a good game?

I need 3 WRs. Should I put Malcom in, or just leave him on the bench?

Three current starters:

Greg Jennings @ PHI

Michael Crabtree @ SEA

Pierre Garcon @ HOU

(Malcom plays Monday night @ KC)

Thanks for any help/insight.

My opinion on the last 3 posts:

- Smack: Start Stafford. Don't let being a Bears fan ruin a chance to win a game. You don't have to actively root for Stafford. Also don't base things on last year's stats, but this year's projections. Stafford has the more explosive offense and has shown explosiveness in the past, unlike Campbell. Stafford gives you a better chance to have a huge game, and if he does score less than Campbell, it won't be by a ton.

-Shnsajax: According to depth charts: Bryant = 4th WR, Shipley = 4th WR, Tate = 3rd WR, Gresham = #1 TE. Go with Gresham. Even if your league counts return yards, Shipley is listed behind Pacman as a punt returner and behind Bernard Scott on kickoff returns. Bryant hasn't played a game yet. I wouldn't expect anything out of him.

-Mike: I'd leave Floyd on the bench. Play matchups only if there is a huge advantage somewhere. Don't see one with Garcon to warrant benching him (and you should probably never bench Jennings or Crabtree). When in doubt, play in the order you drafted them, because after all you draft in order of best player to worst.

Thanks. I assumed I was over-thinking it.

I don't know where the veteran tag came from for this year's Titans defense. We dropped a bunch of veterans and have young guys filling those roles. We'll have players getting significant snaps at end, OLB and corner who have never played in an NFL game.

Also, however, the pass defense should be much improved over last year. Early on in the season we were missing Vincent Fuller and Nick Harper got real old, real quick. As soon as Fuller got back, the secondary got much better, but still had the awful stats from the 0-6 start holding it back. With Fuller healthy this year and Harper gone (with good young players replacing him) the Titan secondary ought to be better – not great, but better.

As raw said, I'd go Stafford without much hesitation.

Thanks, I think that's what I'm going to do as well. I can't believe I put myself in this situation. Picked 7th in 10-team league, took Turner, then Moss. I'm not accustomed to having strong WRs and weak RBs. We'll see how it works out.
