RHP Chris Carpenter to Iowa.

RHP Trey McNutt to Tennessee.

RHP Nick Struck to Daytona.

LHP Austin Kirk to Peoria.

wow...that's pretty big news for McNutt. He's earned it, but they're moving him pretty fast. Ending up in AA means that he'll likely get some time in the big league camp next spring.

Someone's got to go up. Kirk, Robinson Lopez and Jeffrey Lorick are all new additions to Peoria's roster but Antigua, Batista, Hatley, Jung, Searle, Struck and Wallach are all still on Peoria's roster.

Greta news for McNutt and Carpenter, they both deserve it. McNutt is definitely on the fast track. It's quite an accomplishment to go through Peoria AND Daytona and wind up in Tennessee all in the same year.

 

As far as who gets promoted to Daytona(congrats to Kirk as well, another deserving promotion) my guess would be Wallach. And on the off chance they shut Rhee down for the rest of the season, Struck could move up as well.
