Infante with 2 HRs and 4 RBI. [-(

Of all the utility players Hendry has acquired over the years, it looks like this is the one he should have kept.

I don't second guess Hendry about Infante; he's having a career year and today is probably the best, if not one of his best, game(s) ever. His career line is .274/.318/.396/.714 with a 90 OPS+

Get rid of Soriono right now, yes right now. I don't care if he hits 50 homeruns the rest of the season. Put a kid from the little league WS in his place so we can have someone that can play defense out in left field.

They had him on paper for about three weeks in November and December 2007. They got him from the Tigers for Jacque Jones, then flipped him to the Braves (along with Will Ohman) for Jose Ascanio.

He said he was wondering if ARam was going to get in front of a ball at any point this season.... re: how he plays it off to the side all the time.

The thing about it is that this team is such a mess, how can anyone hope for anything for next season. There are so few bright spots to start with. I didn't think they'd be that bad or have so many holes. What a disaster.

If Lou had any doubts about his decision prior to today's game, they're gone now.

I am sure he's thrilled. You had to figure his last game would be like this.

"Let's get it done!" I am certain the WGN radio personality guest conductor was referring to the game as a whole, so he could get out of there.

This is how it's going to be for the next 3-4 years so you might as well get used to it.

The upside is that we won't have to suffer through embarrassing playoff losses.

Hey man, if the Cardinals and Reds and Brewers and Astros and Pirates all suck, we can win the division next year!

That guy looked like he would rather eat [expletive] than face the crowd. Who could blame him?

Just wait until next year when Ramirez is gone. After that, Fukudome/Zambrano are traded for nothing, and Hendry doesn't sign any decent free agents because of the old excuse that we have to trade someone before we can sign anybody (like bradley/marquis/derosa, etc.,)
