WGN cubs radio intros.

I was searching for this years because I honestly want to understand what the singer is saying. "Come on now and take this crowd"? or something like that. I found some of the more recent ones. My favorite I think is everybody loves the cubs. Here's a link with some soundbites.

The Orioles used to play John Denver's 'Thank God I'm a Country Boy' during their 7th inning stretch. Nuthin' like seeing a bunch of obese Baltimorons dancing and clapping.

Everbody Loves the Cubs was also my favorite. Couple that with "CHICAGO CUBS BASEBALL IS ON THE AIR.....From Wrigley Field in Chicago" and that's a perfect summer's day.

I dont know if you have it now or not but i have the studio version and from the radio

 

I agree as well that the country music thing was completely awful, this year is a little better but they really need to go back to "everybody loves the cubs" or "here come the Cubs" by the beach boys
