Only 6 weeks to go and the divisions are tightly bunched. Several teams can make the playoffs.

Period 17: 7/26/10 - 8/1/10

Alamo Stealth at Sock it Thome

NC Cubs at Harrys Budcrew

Saber Metrics at Northside Baseball

Kid Rodelo at Ron Washington's Dealers

Fuzzy Logistics at The Eyes of Texas

Tootielicious at Mighty D-Block

Bazingas at Galesburg Hand Sanitizers

Habitual Linesteppers at Quakers

Huge matchup in the East between the Dealers and Kid Rodelo. Rodelo and the Sanitizers are tied for 1st, while the Dealers are alone in 3rd.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, this is the last week for determining the draft order. Bazingas are currently a half game ahead of Quakers for the #1 pick. I'm locked into #3 regardless of how I do this week.

I'm in full blown sell mode now. Anybody not exempt is available for the right deal, but if you want Cabrera it's going to cost you. Looking for high end minor league depth and picks for next year.

I think I've pretty well set up my minor leagues through player trades this year. I may even have some minor league trade bait now should I be able to take on pts at the end of the year. I can't remember the last time I was this stacked full of exempt players and a full pretty talented minor league corps. With all the draft picks I"ve accumulated, I could be in pretty good shape next year.

Has CBS been down all day for anyone else? I wasn't able to fix my roster for today before the COL-PHI game started.

Been down for me too.

My roster was illegal briefly today while I couldn't access players (Roberts was off the DL but I hadn't moved him yet). I fixed it today by dropping a bench player.

I'll be watching Chuck's pitching starts closely this week. Hopefully he'll exceed the limit and have to forfeit the points for Garza's no-hitter.

Lots of changes to my lineup the last 24 hours. Due to trade Cabrera in at U. Castro traded, out at SS. Tulo off the DL today, in at SS. Colby Lewis will get one of my 7 starts.

And even more changes for you to make in tomorrow's lineup. :D

Rauch lost the closer job in Minnesota due to the Matt Capps trade. Is that a legitimate reason for replacing him with a free agent midweek?

I don't think so.

No big deal if that's the case; it's not like I'm going to win this week anyway. Garza took care of that Monday night.

Cashner has put up a hefty -53.5 for D-Block this week. That has to be one of the worst scores for a player in one week.

I'm pretty sure I had a pitcher throw up two starts of -30+ in the same week.

I think the current record is Chien-Ming Wang in week 2 last year, where he threw up 2 starts of -40+ in a week before being shelved for a year.
