lots of big intra-divisional games this week.

 

for the second time this year, having an illegal roster for chuck is paying off big time against me. seth smith, who would not be in his lineup if it weren't illegal as [expletive], is having a big game.

 

good news is, i should be in line for a waiver claim on heyward or beltran this weekend, so that's exciting.

I'm too lazy to look it up right now, but I may be in contention for the worst weekly score in Roadkill history if my pitchers continue their collective suckfest. Four days into the week and I have less than 20 points.

is he the one that put heyward in his lineup today or did one of the commissioners do it? in any event, he should not be allowed to have heyward in his lineup. lineups are due monday and heyward wasn't in the lineup on that day. and it's not like he just came off the DL. i think it's pretty clear that he can't be in there.

I would imagine Chuck did that. I took Chacin out of his line up, because I got tired of fixing his points. He wasn't scheduled for a start this week, so placing him on reserve made my job easier.

My grandfather died this morning, so I'm making plans to fly back to Peoria on Wednesday and I'll probably be there for at least a week. I will have internet access, just not as much as usual. I'll check in the best I can since this is the trade deadline week.

 

If someone doesn't see or hear from me by the 2nd in this forum, please create a new thread and calculate the draft order for me. Much appreciated.

 

As far as this commissioner thing goes, Juan passed the torch to me as a temporary thing, and left me with the impression that he would be returning at some point. Now that he's been replaced, we should probably discuss, nominate or bid for the commissioner gig. I was never voted in, and I'm not really all that sure how people feel about me doing it at this time. I'm willing to continue to do it for now, but I'd be happy to step down from this role if people feel someone else is better suited for the position.

Fewest points was what I was going to use as the tie breaker. To me, that's certainly suckier than a team with more points. No offense to the teams with low points. Clint will lose any and all tie breakers. :(

If you have time while you're in Peoria, the Chiefs are home Wed-Fri...as a season ticket holder I've got a bajillion unused tix I'd be happy to reallocate to you (well, at least a few).
