5:16 AM. I woke up randomly cause of my flu. Can't go back to sleep right now because of the morning calls to prayer.

God, I hated those so much. In one of the places I stayed, the local mosque had a loudspeaker pointed directly at my room. My wife's family's house was about 200 feet from another.

Hahaha. Short Version: I wanted to have a gap year before law school. Thought I'd teach English as a foreign language and this is where I ended up. Love it here though.

 

Funny thing is, I'll probably finish the year in Chicago.

 

My friend is teaching English too, only he's in South Korea.

 

I hear the schools can be rough down there.

 

Nah, he's teaching at a private Elementary School for rich kids. He's got it made. He loves it. This is his second time over there.

Was great to see Lilly get off to a good start.

 

Brewer fans at the game seemed even more disdainful of Cub fans than usual.

It was an awesome game to be at. Z easily got the loudest reaction of the night. Right after we plated home three in the 8th, the loyal Brewer fans dipped out of Miller. It was so nice seeing Lilly out there; glad to have him back. I was by the dugout during BP and it was cool seeing the guys up close. Byrd and Lee were destroying everything. All in all it was a great time, and happy to see another series win over the Brewers.
