Yeah, Bulls fans pretty much suck. I suppose not thinking you have a chance probably doesn't help things but still, you're trying to upset the best team in the NBA, it'd be nice if it were louder.

 

It makes no sense that the Cubs, White Sox, Blackhawks and Bears all can have pretty electric crowds and the UC sounds like a morgue during Bulls games.

When we played the Wizards in the first round in 05, the crowd was the best I've seen it during the post-dynasty years. So that definitely makes sense.

The Bulls fans are good at times, mediocre at times. It doesn't help that the 100 level is at least $125 a ticket, pushing the louder fans away from the court, but I suppose that happens all over the NBA. I've seen the UC be insane at times before, but I think in a series where they know we're just first round fodder, it's hard to go completely crazy. It's not like the first round of the playoffs is new to us either so we won't go nuts just for the novelty of the event.

absolutely, people were excited about being back in the playoffs and expected a lot from a decent but just above average team. remember the miami sweep? the crowd was absolutely crazy during that. they didn't follow it up with anything, the fans are just jaded.
