This Sharks/Avs game is getting pretty good. Col scored a few minutes ago to take a 2-1 lead but the Sharks just tied it up with 12 minutes left in the 3rd. Obviously, I'd LOVE to see Colorado win this series, because the Hawks would get to face them in the next round should we advance. Not to say that Colorado is a pushover, but I'd rather the Hawks face them than Vancouver.

We play pretty well against Vancouver. I wouldn't complain with that.

Bryzgalov has been a brick wall for Phoenix in the 1st 10:00 of this game. I think PHX was down at least 1 man for like 5 minutes there.

The Red Wings have basically spent the entire 1st period in the Coyotes zone. I can't believe they haven't scored a goal yet.

Amazing. The Red Wings are absolutely dominating this game, but find themselves down 2-0.

 

As soon as I type this they score a goal to cut the deficit to 2-1.

I dont usually bitch about officiating. and they coyotes were better in the last 2 periods and deserved to win. but when the cuss is the NHL officials going to realize that the Coyotes are clearly making a team effort out of cussing diving!!!! I understand that teh Wings have a couple of players who are guilty of diving at times...lilja and holmstrom, but good god it is clear that it is a coyote strategy in this whole series

luongo just made one of the best saves ive ever seen

luongo basically took that series back from the kings. for all the talk about how he might have been weak in games 2 and 3 or weak down the stretch, without him playing at his best, the kings probably win this series going away. don't get me wrong, the 'nucks dominated the play, but he made 3 critical saves that basically either kept his team in it or literally saved the game. lots of goalies might be able to make those saves, but he actually did.

 

meh. in a shock to no one, kings go 0-4 with randy jones on the ice in the playoffs.
