This is so like Vancouver game 6 last year, except its happening in the 1st not the 3rd. This is not playoff hockey.

Niemi and the defense need to get their [expletive] together between periods. Too many decent chances, and very few big saves by Niemi.

I don't see Nashville keeping up their scoring pace without luck.

They don't need luck if the Hawks don't want to clear the zone and Niemi can't focus.

I agree that the Hawks will outclass these doofs in the shootout, but I hate leaving anything to chance.

I don't know, at this point I am throwing all conventional thinking out the window. I have no idea what to expect from either team the rest of the series.

Every time I think we've burried the Predators, and they are done, they come back. They are indeed a really resilient bunch.

Yeah, they kind of remind of the 2003 Marlins. They just won't go away.

Is it common for interviews to be held with players during the intermissions? They just had one on FSN-TN and I found it odd since I've never seen that before in other sports.

I think it's one of the things they started after the lock out ( I could be wrong on this). I guess it's an attempt to make the game more fan friendly or something.

I'm pretty sure they have been doing intermission interviews with players for many years, long before the lockout. CSNC just had Keith on.

I think your right on that. I was thinking more of when they interview the coaches on the bench.

Thanks. I'm not really crazy about them - they're kind of like ESPN doing interviews with baseball managers during regular season games.

I don't so much mind the intermission interviews, but NBC will have Pierre McGuire interviewing players on the bench during the period. That's where I draw the line.

Bum PP there. But at least things are settled down a little. Need to clamp down like the 3rd period of Game 4.

Looks like the NHL wants a 7th game in this series.

That's beyond blatent. I don't think even the NBA would do something that obvious.
