did he look svelte while striking out

It was majestic how you could see his rippling body tighten beneath his uniform as strike 3 was called.

Marshall vs. Davis

pitch 1: foul

pitch 2: flyout to RF

0 runs, 0 hits, 0 errors, 1 LOB

2-0 Cubs after 2.5

In my ideal world Colvin is sent to Iowa to start the season and tears it up. Soriano gets traded at the break for *anything* and Colvin takes over LF in the second half. Maybe swap Byrd to LF and let Colvin play center.

That would be a depressing, terrifying world.

Because it's tremendously unrealistic and dumping Soriano for "anything" is likely a scenario that the Cubs get shafted in.

Well, getting out of the contract would be a dream in itself... but Colvin playing in his stead... yikes
