Looks like the extended draft wins . . . less social but I think better in some ways. We can start as soon as we finish the prospect draft, which will begin now? Do we need to set some ground rules?

My suggestions:

1. You cannot have more than 10 minor leaguers at any time and all new picks must be in the minors. In addition, all players who will be in your minors at the roster deadline must be on your minor league roster.

2. Picks can be made here or on the site. Players need not be in the database to be picked but must be in a major league team's system.

3. ??

Wait. What?

We are going to conduct a minor league draft now when no one has a legal roster? I'm still debating on what guys I want to trade before the February 14th deadline to make our rosters legal. I don't think any drafting should start prior to legalizing rosters.

And aren't there still 2 managers you are still waiting to hear from?

yeah, let's wait at least until after the 14th.

Frankly, I haven't even begun to think about this yet and need to do some research.

Yeah, but you're supposed to ease down on that accelarator, otherwise you'll rip out your transmission.

So when are we planning on the prospect draft?

Probably we can get started next week if we get all the rosters legal.

Yes. We voted to stop rewarding the teams that are best at dumping their roster at the deadline. Where your team sits at the trade deadline will determine the draft order the following year.

Oh, I thought that was just for the prospect draft.
