it's impossible to be bored if you have a computer with internet, because there's more amazing stuff on youtube than you have time. youtube easily.

Google, wikipedia, facebook and youtube have all been massively important. myspace was important and probably gave rise to facebook, but it doesn't seem like a big deal any more. i don't know how to vote yet.

myspace was a fantastic idea, but it's a terrible website. Facebook may have gotten my vote if it had launched to the public earlier. But Google, and all the crap you can do there, wins. I never thought I'd make a search engine my home page, but I love iGoogle. Roll in gmail, GIS, maps, docs, wave. It's incredible. youtube comes in 2nd. Though, again, Facebook may pass both if they can keep innovating without alienating users.

It's a close one but I have to go with Youtube. I spend far too much time one there listening to music and searching for live performances, and occasionally when looking for a random funny video, there's always that too. I love the sleeping dog runs into wall as well as the tranquilized bear on the trampoline. Google makes a close second simply because it is the most amazing search engine ever.

YouTube was better when it was the Wild West of web videos. Now so many videos are being shut down for copyright infringement, etc. that it's a drag

This reminds of my recent argument of the best athlete of the decade. I said Phelps, Tiger and Federer are all the best of their sport of all time and thus should share it. In this poll I would say Facebook, Youtube and Google have all made a significant change to our culture.

If I had to pick I would go with Google since it bought Youtube and anything there I believe can be seen on the Google video page (could be wrong).
