I got a question for everyone. Is it so outrages to say this...

Chris Johnson is the best overall back in the league, better then Peterson.

I'll still take Peterson, but Johnson has really closed the gap this season and its very very close.

Peterson can more consistently get yardage, but CJ will have more breakout runs.

I think Peterson is still better, but CJ is well up there.

I've been talking about this with my brother for the last couple weeks (Titans fan) and we both agree its Peterson. CJ leads the league in runs for a loss. Peterson is as powerful as any RB and as fast as any RB except CJ. With Peterson you get few runs for a loss and you still get the breakout plays. Peterson is tied with Gore for the most runs of 60+ yards since 2006.

All that said CJ is 2-5 in the RB rankings. I can see arguments for CJ, Stephen Jackson (my pick for 2), MJD and DeAngelo Williams.

My top five would be 1. Peterson 2. Jackson 3. CJ 4. DeAngelo 5. MJD

I wouldn't put Jackson ahead of CJ. CJ has had better stats this year and last and is younger than Jackson (likely to be productive for longer). I'd probably switch those two and then agree with you.

Is there any actual logic behind the wearing of retro unis in the AFC?

Today we have BUF/TEN both wearing retros. And we have CIN/PIT both not wearing retros.

Then we have some teams who have really different looking retros like the Broncos (who aren't wearing them today), then we have teams with retros that look pretty much the same like the Colts.

I mean, it's a fun idea for a week or two, but doing this all season long, in what appears to be a random fashion, is a bit much.

Anytime 2 former AFL teams play they wear them for the 50 year AFL Anniversary

OK so it's not random. It still makes for a confusing and sort of silly display, IMO.

The Redskins no longer feel covering wide receivers is necessary.

Are you saying that WR's can hurt you if you don't cover them? :-k

Wait, this was written after their first TD and then they had a second TD where Marshall was completely uncovered and behind all the secondary?

I wrote Fox and said Wall of America and im not even joking. Im sure they had other people say that, but they had it up as a option on TV so im going to take credit for it.
