holy [expletive], tebow is a [expletive] qb

That's obviously ridiculous. He's one of the greatest COLLEGE QBs of all time.

He's a running back that shows great leadership. He is one of the best at what he does in college. A great quarterback he is not

In college there are several different versions of QB's.

he's a player that just runs the wildcat every play. If ronnie brown took the snap every play you might consider him a quarterback and he might do well at what he does, but he's not a good quarterback. Tebow is a great player who runs an offense that is perfect for him. Until he can make deep throws consistently, shorten up his throwing motion, sit in the pocket for more than two seconds, and learn some mid range accuracy; he will not be a good quarterback.

You can disagree with me if you want, but that is what i believe. You can say he is a great college quarterback, but the pros will prove he is not a quarterback

what you're arguing is that he's not a great passer, which nobody is going to disagree with. you don't have to be a great passer to be a great quarterback, especially at the college level.

Assuming the Yahoo box score isn't screwy, I think that Florida State and Georgia Tech are only allowed to have 7 men on defense. It's 35-28 at the half and Florida State has 402 yards of offense, with Ponder being 18-21-267 and 4 TDs so far.

I'll settle for that

Not good enough a passer for the NFL = you're only as good at passing as Ronnie Brown.

lol @ he runs the Wildcat every play

I have yet to see him take a snap from under center or any snap where there is not some form of play action. That is basically the wildcat offense

i feel like i could throw for 200 yds against michigan's secondary.

Not too difficult when they're playing 2 walk-ons and a guy just coming back from injury. You could also probably throw better passes than Forcier has thrown in this game. What a [expletive] idiot.

yeah i've been watching that one too, it's been pretty fun. there also was a delay for about an hour because of lightning.

Tim Tebow is one of the greatest college players ever to play the game. Certainly top ten and probably top five and maybe even number one. That doesn't mean he will be a great NFL player or anything like that. His style fits the college game perfectly, at least give him the credit he deserves. If he becomes the worst QB in the history of the NFL it won't change the fact that he was a great college player. There have been players who have been average college players who went on to be great NFL players. Success in one doesn't mean success in the other. Obviously, if you're successful in the NFL you're more likely to have been a successful player in college, not vice versa.

So was Jamelle Holieway a great QB?

I don't think he's even going to get a chance to be the worst QB in the NFL. He's not a good enough passer to ever do anything after college.

he was an amazing college player and the only true freshman quarterback ever to lead a team to a national championship, but he was not a great quarterback and the pros proved that
