If you told me in April that the Cubs would be sporting this line-up in late September against the Brewers, I'd laugh and question a lot of things.

 

Or celebrate because you would have thought we won the division by 25 games.

Oh come on Uecker, when Milton was with the Dodgers and he went to anger management counseling, did the counselor really leave the session because the counselor got angry at Milton, then the *counselor* had to go to anger management counseling?? Did not know that. What else you got?

That is homers number 36 and 37 given up by Looper this year. Prince already beat him to 40 but he will continue is quest for the 40 home run club.

 

I'd take that over Gregg's 13 home runs allowed.

As someone watching on Gameday, I'm curious to know how Colvin looks. I know the line looks good, but does he look comfortable? Is he having good at bats?

He has a strange looking stance. Very aggressive. During the AB he got a hit, he swung at two split finger pitches in the dirt, before recovering to get a single over the 2B's head. Didn't see the first AB.
