I just tried it. Works fine for me. What trouble are you having?

just tried searching social forum for rocky mount (last post i made) and it redirected me to the first page of the forum. this was the url at the top after i searched:

 

http://www.northsidebaseball.com/bridge/index.php?keywords=rocky+mount&terms=all&author=&fid[]=4&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

It worked fine for me, but it is possible that the search index got broken somehow in the transfer. If you read my notes on the front page of how I moved the site, I had to move that particular file separately.

 

I'm pretty tied up the next few days, but I'll try to look into it asap.

I noticed the search wasn't working when I was using a bookmark for northsidebaseball.com/bridge. It's back to normal since I switched the URL to northsidebaseball.com/forum.

Okay, after some experimentation, it looks like the subsilver2 template is the only impacted by this. That gives me a place to start looking.

 

In the meantime, might I suggest using one of the other fine templates available? :)

It's also dependent upon the template being used. But I haven't been able to figure out the difference despite a few attempts at it.

I'm using subsilver2, have the site bookmarked as "/forum", and the search works fine.

 

Why are you still using the "/bridge" URL? Have you tried using "/forum"?

If you don't care about the front page of the site (and based on the traffic pattern, few do), then use /forum as your bookmark and search will work fine for any theme. The coordination between the front end and back end breaks down, but nobody is using the features on the front end you have to be logged in for, anyway.
