That's a really nice night for Samardzija! His next pitch will happen as a member of the major league team, so it's a great way to leave the minors!

kyler burke is out of the lineup tonight... hopefully just a night off. it'd be nice if the chiefs are at full health if/when they're in the playoffs.

 

Just a night off. Pevey will be getting his regulars a few nights off before the playoffs. Ridling and Burke in particular haven't really had but about 2 or 3 nights off over the past 3 months.
