Nah, their RF was playing shallow and Baker would have been dead to rights at home.

Well, the throw home was terrible, so he would have been safe, but an average throw nails him easily

He was a first rounder a few years ago, so it's not like he's bereft of talent. I think he had some hiccups in the minors due to injuries.

I wish we could pinpoint why the Cubs have such trouble with RISPs so we could correct it. Gooney had a good explanation that I bought into earlier, but I still don't think that explains how bad we've been.
