This year has to be more frustrating than 2006

Not even close.

actually, it is.in 2006, we knew we had a crap team on our hands from the get go, but now, we have a high pay roll team that should be steamrolling their way to the top, and they cant hang.

One would need that high payroll team actually on the field for it to steamroll anything.

Yeah, but we've had most of them for most of the season. The string of injuries is getting ridiculous, and it makes it more annoying than if, say, Bradley and Ramirez had blown out their knees in the first couple of months

Can Fukudome just play every day? How does it make any sense to have another lefty, one that has maybe a third of the hitting talent that Koskue has, platoon with him.

This team is messed up in so many ways, they don't even have the organizational depth to give us a replacement level RH hitter.

Technically most of them for most of the season, but missing Soto and Aramis as much as they have is huge.

You guys actually DON'T think Lidge will K the side?

He's blown at least two saves against the Cubs off the top of my head.

Granted, those times were when he was with the Astros...but still.

why is 2006 more frustrating? that was an awful team. this is a good team that plays like [expletive] morons 95% of the time.

2006 wasn't frustrating at all. Like you said, that team just sucked.

2004, this year and the first few months of 2007 were way more frustrating than 2006 was.
