Wow. I'm going to have some serious roster issues at the end of this year. All these talented minor leaguers I traded for have been promoted. LaPorta saw some time already, Poreda, Gio Gonzalez, David Huff and Carlos Carrasco are all now up.

 

I wouldn't be shocked if Chris Carter, Chris Tillman and Neftali Feliz all see time this year as well.

At some point this year I'll have the same issue with Schierholz (especially now that he's getting more playing time), but he isn't a stud prospect that I'd feel bad about dropping if I don't want to promote him.

Not one of my team's better weeks, but I barely pulled it out thanks to 2 good pitching performances for me and 1 not-so-good start for Brian. I'll take it, though; it gives me a 3-game lead for the last playoff spot in the East thanks to Raw and HBC both going down.

I just got rid of Granderson because Reimold and his 15-20 pts a week have just been sitting on the bench. I picked up Aram who will either 1. Replace Blalock at 3b for me later this year or 2. Be an extremely cheap keeper after the season. I got a better prospect than I gave up in the deal too. We'll see how it works out. I may regret it.

If he needs shoulder surgery I think he'd likely be out at least the first half of next year, if not all year. I believe he's supposed to be a free agent after this year. If so it may be a repeat of the situation with Ben Sheets this year (rehabilitating from surgery without being signed by anybody).
