I'm not going to lie, I haven't seen much of Chamberlain pitching. I've been checking out MLB.com videos, and nothing he does seems that obnoxious. He has this tendency to walkoff the mound in a semicircle and take his glove off after every strikeout, but I couldn't find a single instance of obnoxious celebration in the four videos I watched, and they had tons of strikeouts.

Have I just watched the wrong four?

No, he doesn't really do the fist pump thing anymore like he did when he was a reliever. He's still a little bit eccentric like you noticed, but he's not like Tiger Woods winning the Masters after each K anymore.

I can only imagine what Bruney would say if he saw Zambrano pitch on a regular basis.

If I'm KRod though, there's no need to go over and say something to Bruney like he did. My response would've been simple (and it's worked well in the past)... "Who's Brian Bruney?"

like it has been said before

Zambrano is nowhere near as bad as K-rod, if he was a starter he would have been beaned a few times by now, him and valverde.

i don't care who said it, i'm just glad another player finally said something about it. i'm sick of this clown coming in with a 3 run lead against the nationals and acting like he achieved some badass accomplishment when he doesn't let them tie it in one inning.
