What was the best picks after the first day? Closest pick to the Majors?

Based on reports, Raley was the best pick of the draft, especially where he was taken as I'm sure the Cubs will have to go above slot to sign him. From what I've seen, with his deceptive FB, good breaking ball, and solid control Rusin is the closest to the majors. I'm there are other possibilities like Rohan and other seniors as well, but it's less likely they'll make it than someone like Rusin.

I'm not as big a fan of Kirk as most here. Just because he hit 95 once in a playoff game doesn't mean too much going forward, he's normally clocked much lower. Granted, guys who are said to not be projectable can still add velocity as they grow (Gallagher) and 88-90 with a good change isn't bad for a lefty.

The Raley pick was my favorite, I really hope they cough up the dough for him. I liked the Whitenack pick too. I also liked the other guys who are projectable or who might get over-slot bonuses - Springfield, Walker, Burruel, Esquivel and Sheppard.
