Apparently Crow grew up a Royals fan and was talking about potentially offering a hometown discount to the Royals back when he was at Mizzou.

As for the A's. Green, Scheppers, Wheeler and sleeper Raley remain possibilities. The A's have enough money to take anyone btw. FWIW, dont be shocked to here Kipnis....

Well I'm not surprised they were willing to spend. But they were extremely tight lipped about their pick, and nobody was connected to Crow.

Any prep player from Texas could go here. Purke is the best prospect, IMO, but he's floating big bonus demands, that usually doesn't deter the Rangers though. They could also be the team to pop Alex White if he's falling because of demands, ditto on Scheppers. I fully expect a pitcher to be selected here.

We'll see a college guy here. Brothers would be the best signable-ish guy left if they go arms here. White and Scheppers may have priced themselves out of Cleveland but he's higher on their board one would think and theyd take him if they can stomach the price. Tim Wheeler and possibly Bobby Boechering could go here if they're looking in on hitters. A sleeper here is Eric Arnett, a bit early for him. Jason Kipnis as well.
