Man, I can't imagine a GM having a much worse offseason than Hendry had. Everything he did was just terrible.

At least there isn't a Kazmir for V. Zambrano trade yet. Although I fear it is coming when Jim panics and sends Vitters away for a couple months of Matt Holliday.

I guess he really is the worst. God knows I've been pining for the GM's of the Nationals, Astros and Mariners to come in and replace Hendry....

Hendry has done a piss poor job in assembling the 3rd highest payroll in the game; hell the Cubs payroll this year is even higher than the Red Sox

 

 

Any GM with that kind of payroll backing should be able to put a team on the field that is better than this mess we are stuck with this season

I knew our payroll was extremely high, definitely top 5. But hearing it's the 3rd highest and above the Red Sox? That's really sad.
