Twins up on the Sox 10-0. I onlybring this up because Bartolo gave up 8 runs in 2 innings, but only 1 was earned. Unless there were 8 errors in thiose 2 innings, this is why the earned vs. unearned run stat is ridiculous.

i'm watching phillies analysts on CSN dump on joe blanton for falling apart in the 5th inning - then they show the highlights and there's a bloop to right, a 30-hop single to left, a 97-hop grounder into left, a walk and a home run on a very bad pitch. give it a rest you morons, he could easily have had a 1-2-3 inning if the bloop is caught and the two bleeders were at fielders instead of being perfectly placed.

I remember going to a Cubs/Dodgers game in 2001 (Cinco de Mayo I think) and the Cubs won 20-1.

I was at that game, too!

Apparently Joba Chamberlain left the Yankees game after being hit by a line drive in the first.

I was at a CUBS game when they ran up 20 runs against the Dodgers..... but it wasn't 05 May....... it was 20 May 1967!!! CUBS win 20-3 behind Kenny Holtzman making his last start before going on active duty with the Illinois National Guard.

I didn't want to go the other direction with that comment :)

But it's cool, I wish I would have been able to see the true Cubs' legends play.
