Starting tomorrow, Tennessee begins what has to be one of the worst stretches of games I've ever seen any team at any level undergo. From May 22nd to May 29th, Tennessee will play 12 games as a result of four double headers. What's worse is the fact that their next day off is June 10th.

In other words, prepare to see a ton of pitcher movement in the next few days to accommodate Tennessee's rotation and bullpen needs.

Brad Snyder is out 4-6 weeks with a broken left hand (from a HBP). OF Richie Robnett was promoted from Tennessee to Iowa. RHP Jesse Estrada was sent down to Tennessee from Iowa.

I was going to say doesnt Tenn have a better option than Robnett, but between Adduci, Robnett, Ty Wright, and Guyer, theyve all been brutal offensively.

Does the minor leagues have a players union, because I cant see them allowing that.
If they had a players union they wouldn't get paid less than minimum wage for their minor league career. The players in extended spring training play 12 inning games 6 days a week and don't even get a paycheck. They get $18 a day for food and a double occupancy room at the Best Western.

Archer loads them up with nobody out and get's out of it unscaved with three strikeouts in the innings (one was a dropped third that they reached on).

Marquez Smith doubles and scores on a Brandon Guyer RBI double. Tennessee down 2-1 after 2. Guyer is creeping closer to the Mendoza line.

Mateo: 2 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K.

Marcos Mateo falling apart in the 3rd. He gave up a solo HR to Jordan Danks and a 2-run HR to Gordon Beckham.

First 5 hitters in the inning have gotten on.

Mateo leaves the game after loading the bases in the 4th inning (1 on a Marquez Smith error). Todd Blackford comes in and gets 2 Ks to get out of the jam.

Mateo's final line: 3.1 IP, 10 H, 6 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 2 HR, 6 GO-2 FO (63 pitches)>
