Why does anyone not just throw Soriano breaking stuff low and away? I know he's showing a better eye so far this year but, wow. He just can't lay off of 'em for hthe most part.

 

If it's anywhere close to the zone, he can actually use that long, loopy swing of his to hit the crap out of those pitches. The problem comes when he's not making contact with them or when the pitch is so far out of the zone that he physically can't hit it.
