The Eyes of Texas (1-2) at Alamo Stealth (2-1)

Northside Baseball (2-1) at Saber Metrics (1-1-1)

Harrys Budcrew (1-2) at Raw Dawgs (1-2)

 

 

Interesting matchup for me. I get 2 starts thrown at me by Justin's best while I have to throw each one of my guys out there for 1 start a piece this week. Hope my bats keep up the pace they set for me last week.

In effort to guess which of my starters goes on the DL this week to keep my streak going to 4, I will guess Bedard.

McLouth is expected to miss the entire Milwaukee series, so I'm starting the week with him on the bench, DeRosa moved to OF (yay for multi-position eligibility) and Polanco at 2B.

My team had the tendancy to get hit with baseballs yesterday. I've placed Hawpe on the bench, moved Braun to the OF, and activated Sandoval.

 

Looks like I could be without Hanley for a few days too.

 

Blah! I'll probably take home my first loss this week.

So I now might end up with ARod, Lackey, Escobar, Ryan and Josh Hamilton all on the DL at one time. Roster management will get quite challenging. I don't suppose everyone would be open to a larger DL? :)

If we could turn back the clock and make it retroactive a couple of years so I could have stashed Liriano on the DL all year and kept him. :D

Well, can't get much more out of 9 innings from 2 starters than the 39.5 I got from Sanchez and Hamels. Of course, now that Hamels has decided to get hurt in every start and Sanchez gets skipped every other time in the rotation...that's about the best I can hope for. Oh and King Felix by himself almost matched that performance in 1 start last night.

No, but I would be willing to store one of them on my DL:)

 

Mauer and Guerrero are currently on my list.

You should probably drop either AROD, Lackey, or Hamilton.

I currently have 4 guys on my DL. Brandon Webb, Stephen Drew, Alex Gordon and Jason Schmidt. Schmidt is no big deal and I could drop him if I was really in need. But, doing so just inspires me to add another sucky starter from the current free agent pool. And I'd rather not.

 

If Tim wants to drop one of those 3 guys, I'd be happy to race Raw (who doesn't check in much) to be first for a waiver wire pick up of one of those guys.

 

Then I could make Jason Schmidt available to the rest of you.

Oh, and besides the 4 guys on my DL, I also have a lengthy list of guys who might as well be on the DL, including Geovany Soto, Matt Holliday, Alexei Ramirez and Randy Johnson.

 

My best player so far has been my bottom of the 7th round pick, Torii Hunter. Nobody wanted Hunter. Nobody. Including myself.

1-1 trades don't really help me out of a roster crunch, anyway.

And I shouldn't have traded Zimmerman to Bukie, either.

Sure, now Theriot hits a grand slam. :)

With my current score and the fact that I'm only getting five starts this week, I'm pretty sure Bukie gets his first double digit win this week.
