You don't reward your loyal fans that have made you the clear No. 1 sport in the U.S> by taking there biggest game away from them. Having the two games in London during the regular season really pisses me off. The home team fans in those games have one less game to attend. That is not how you reward a fanbase for being loyal.

How would the SB be taken away from football fans? Almost all of them can only see it on TV in the first place.

Rocket's point still hasn't been rebutted in any compelling way. I'd also add this:

not to go all protectionist, but the Super Bowl is a pretty big economic deal for whatever city that gets it. why hand that off to a foreign city that doesn't give a rat's ass about the sport (and likely never will.)

Tim's point is pretty important too. Wouldn't be a good idea to hurt viewership in the US or in London due to the times.

Fool, ain't no such thing as a Premiership Championship game.

The point stands nonetheless. Foreign Super Bowl would be dumb.

11pm in England? How drunk would those people be, and would they even remember it afterwards?

The FA Cup comparison is more apt.

However, wasn't UEFA ever so briefly considering holding a CL final in NYC a few years back?
