We had a good time yesterday's game but were stuck behind some southern Illinois redneck Cubs fans who were making complete a**es of themselves. Shirts off, cursing, drinking, yelling at women and arguing with Cardinals fans. It was really embarrassing. You'd think they were Sox fans by the way they acted.

Had a good time in St. Louis except for the constant 30mph winds all weekend. The zoo was nice and I got a lot of great pictures at the Botanical Garden. Plus my good mood was helped by a nice run at the casino and the craps table. It paid for the weekend. \:D/

Of course it was a Southern Illinois redneck, oh high and mighty one.

I had a blast on Sunday, glad I missed the other two games. Late in the game, I had a Card fan yelling at me, he kept asking if I was from Chicago. I just smiled, but he kept talking [expletive]. He was a tough guy till I jacked his ass up outside the stadium. Wife is still giving me the cold shoulder.

Prices are absolutey criminal inside that place though, and the seats are awfully cramped.

I don't notice that prices are any higher than other places. The beers are cheaper at Wrigley, but it memory serves the cups are smaller.

As for it being cramped, I agree. They definitely got every seat in there that they could. And no advertising possibility was ignored. Just like the old place, there are ads everywhere you look. I guess most places are that way now, it just seems like they take it to the extreme.

The beer was 16oz which is either the same as Wrigley or smaller. For 7.75 thats crazy. But even the "hot dogs" and other food were pretty ridiculous.

And worst of all they were those plastic bottles. (But they're 16oz just like the cans at Wrigley.)

I know this belongs in rants: but those plastic beer bottle the most useless things in the history of man. The beer tastes weird and never gets as cold as a can.
