I was surprised to see that the waiver was last night. I thought it always ran on Sunday nights.

 

Also I put in the request for Bartlett last weekend. Did anyone else have this experience?

 

I assume additions to today's line-up due to waiver pick-ups are legal.

 

When I put in for Scutaro, it said it would be processed Sunday morning. Every player I have requested so far has come in for me.

Waivers has always been Sunday morning. Bartlett was released on 4/19. That was during this current week's scoring period. By making a waiver claim on him, he would not become available until Sunday morning, which then makes him available for you for this coming scoring period.

 

Once a player is dropped during a scoring period, they become unavailable through the waiver process until the next scoring period.

 

If I were you, I probably would have waited until Sunday (today) and hoped no one else made a claim on him. I guess I'm saying that I don't see Jason Bartlett as a hot property worthy of losing your waiver position over. So, others probably wouldn't have made a claim on him, either.

Actually, 4/19 was last Sunday, so it was not during this current scoring period.

That is my memory, that I claimed him last Sunday. But that would explain things. I thought that it was the day before the waiver run, but in reality it was the day after. :?

 

It has alwats been Sunday morning? I could swear that in years past that I had to remeber to check my team on Monday morning to see who I had picked up in the waiver run and then adjust my line-up.

 

And yes, I should have just waited and picked him up as a free agent #-o

As bad as Tim is bagging on his own team right now, I still have a good chance to lose this match up.

You're 40 points up and you have an extra start remaining. And two of my starters are Duke and Parra.

I miscounted your starts when I looked at this and then Duke came through big time for me. Not to mention your three starts yesterday totaling out to 10 IP.

 

And even with all that...it is still coming down to the wire.

Would have been down to the wire with your afternoon/evening players except for the scoring change in Houston. Sucks to lose on something like that. My team did not deserve to win this week (huge exceptions to Albert, Beltran & Duke).

Stewart sits more than he starts. I'm speechless. Look at his numbers so far this year. Look at what the Rockies said about him before the season started. We want him in there everyday, blah blah blah. Yeah, whatever.

 

At 0-3, I'm virtually out of it already.
